TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
- It is essential that all students attending London Taekwondo Warriors arrive punctually to each lesson.
- If a student arrives before the instructor, the parent or guardian accompanying the student must remain with them until a staff member is on the premises.
- Until a staff member is on-site, the parent or guardian accompanying the student is responsible for the safety and well-being of the student. If the parent or guardian leaves the student unattended, London Taekwondo Warriors holds no responsibility for the student.
- It is crucial for parents or guardians to arrive promptly to collect their child after each class. The instructors have other commitments and need to leave immediately after the course.
- By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian acknowledges that they are responsible for the student until the lesson begins and the student is in the training room with the instructor.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS AND MONTHLY PAYMENTS
- The annual membership and monthly payments associated with London Taekwondo Warriors services do not constitute a binding contract.
- Individuals can opt out of these arrangements at any given time without any undue obligations or penalties.
- a written notice or communication via the preferred method outlined in the terms and conditions is required if a member decides to discontinue their membership or cease making monthly payments.
- London Taekwondo Warriors will promptly update the account status and ensure no further charges are incurred.
- Monthly payments for London Taekwondo Warriors are due on the 1st day of each month.
- Payments can be made via standing order/direct debit or cash.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in a charge of £5 for the first month of non-payment and £10 for subsequent months.
- Pay must be received within one month to ensure the student’s right to participate in the training is not forfeited until all outstanding charges are settled.
- By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian understands that London Taekwondo Warriors reserves the right to refuse service to those not up to date with payments or who consistently make late payments.
- Our training fees or annual membership registration fees are non refundable.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: DISOBEDIENCE
- London Taekwondo Warriors reserves the right to discontinue training for students who display persistent disobedience.
- If a student’s behaviour becomes unmanageable and poses a detriment to the training environment and other students, the parent or guardian will be contacted, and the student may be dismissed from further lessons.
- Discipline is an integral part of martial arts training.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- London Taekwondo Warriors cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during a training session.
- It is strongly advised to leave valuables at home.
- In case of a need for contact between a child and parent, the instructor will have a phone available.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: HEALTH AND SAFETY
- If the student has any medical conditions listed below, he must consult a doctor to ensure that intense physical exercise will not pose a problem.
- The following medical conditions must be disclosed to London Taekwondo Warriors via email before any instruction is carried out:

- Any illness or injury aggravated by exercise
- Head injuries
- Dizziness or loss of consciousness during exercise
- High cholesterol
- Joint problems aggravated by exercise, such as arthritis
- Chest pains during exercise
- Taking prescription medication
- Heart condition
- Conditions that restrict blood flow
- Diabetes or other metabolic diseases
- High or low blood pressure
- If the student has any listed conditions, the instructor must be informed immediately to discuss necessary actions for safety and well-being. It is advised to consult a doctor before participating to ensure it is safe.
- By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian confirms that they have recently consulted a doctor who has deemed it safe for the student to participate. They further agree that they have informed the instructor or London Taekwondo Warriors of any student medical problems and that they choose to let the student continue in this class at their own risk. They also understand that the student will be participating in a semi-contact sport involving intense physical exercise, including but not limited to running, stretching, and resistance exercise, which can result in injury or, in implausible circumstances, death.
- By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian acknowledges that they have fully read and understood them and agree to all the presented terms without negotiation. These Terms and Conditions are binding and non-negotiable.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: EQUIPMENT PURCHASES
- All equipment purchases must be made solely through London Taekwondo Warriors. The purchase of equipment from any other suppliers or vendors is not permitted.
- London Taekwondo Warriors will supply all necessary equipment during classes, events, and competitions. This equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure its quality and safety.
- Should a student wish to acquire their equipment for personal use, it is required to purchase London Taekwondo Warriors. This includes but is not limited to uniforms, sparring gear, and weapons.
- Please be aware that all equipment purchases are final and non-refundable. It is strongly advised to carefully select the appropriate size and style of equipment before making a purchase.
- London Taekwondo Warriors reserves the right to refuse equipment sale to any individual at any given time.
- London Taekwondo Warriors retains the right to modify these terms and conditions regarding equipment purchases without prior notice. Regularly checking the website for any updates is encouraged.

Limitations of Liability and Disclaimer of Liability
Limitations of Liability:
London Taekwondo Warriors acknowledges that certain risks may be inherent in Taekwondo, despite our best efforts to provide a safe environment and quality instruction. While we strive to maintain the highest safety standards, it is important to understand and accept the inherent risks associated with physical activities, including but not limited to martial arts.
To this end, London Taekwondo Warriors imposes certain liability limitations to protect the organisation and its valued users. These limitations are as follows:
- Assumption of Risk: Users implicitly acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in Taekwondo training by participating in our programs. These risks may include but are not limited to, physical injuries, sprains, strains, fractures, or other related injuries.
- Consent to Release: Users expressly release London Taekwondo Warriors, its employees, instructors, affiliates, and volunteers from any liability for damages, losses, or injuries that may arise while utilising our products or services. This release covers all claims, whether from negligence, breach of contract, or otherwise.
- Waiver of Liability: London Taekwondo Warriors expects all users to sign a liability waiver before engaging in any activities, acknowledging that they have been aware of the potential risks. This waiver is legally binding, protecting both parties from potential litigation.
Disclaimer of Liability:
With this, London Taekwondo Warriors disclaims any responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injuries incurred by users while using our products or services. Users need to understand that they assume all risks associated with participation, and London Taekwondo Warriors shall not be held liable for any resulting harm or consequences.
Our disclaimer of liability includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Personal Injury: London Taekwondo Warriors shall not be held responsible for any physical injury or harm suffered by users during the practice of Taekwondo or any related activities.

Termination:

Violation of Terms of Service: Users who fail to comply with the Company’s Terms of Service, including but not limited to engaging in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activities, may face termination or suspension of their accounts or access to the products or services provided by London Taekwondo Warriors.
Breach of Community Guidelines: London Taekwondo Warriors is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive community. Users who violate the community guidelines, such as engaging in harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination, may have their accounts or access suspended or terminated.
Security Concerns: To safeguard the integrity and security of its products and services, London Taekwondo Warriors may terminate or suspend user accounts or access if there are reasonable grounds to believe that a user’s actions pose a risk to the system, data, or other users.
Legal Obligations: In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, London Taekwondo Warriors may be compelled to terminate or suspend user accounts or access if required by law enforcement agencies, court orders, or other legal processes.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes that may arise between London Taekwondo Warriors and its users, the following governing law and jurisdiction shall apply:
Governing Law: Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or relating to the use of London Taekwondo Warriors’ products or services shall be governed by and construed following the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction: The parties agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or related to such disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London, England.
Arbitration/Mediation Clause: London Taekwondo Warriors encourages users and the Company to pursue alternative dispute resolution methods, such as arbitration or mediation, to resolve disputes efficiently and amicably. If both parties agree, they may choose to resolve their disputes through arbitration or mediation, conducted following the rules and procedures set forth by a mutually agreed-upon arbitration or mediation body.
It is important to note that this dispute resolution clause does not preclude either party from seeking injunctive relief or any other provisional remedy in a court of competent jurisdiction.
London Taekwondo Warriors is committed to promoting fair and transparent procedures for dispute resolution, and by agreeing to use its products or services, users acknowledge and accept the governing law, jurisdiction, and the importance of exploring alternative dispute resolution methods.
Entire Agreement
This Entire Agreement (after this referred to as the “Agreement”) is entered into between London Taekwondo Warriors (after this referred to as the “Company”) and its users (from now on referred to as the “Users”) as of the date of acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Users.
Terms and Conditions
By accessing or using the Company’s services, the Users agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the Company and the Users, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
Scope of Agreement
This Agreement governs the use of the services provided by the Company, including but not limited to participation in Taekwondo classes, workshops, seminars, training sessions, and any other related activities or events organised by the Company.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Company’s services, the Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. If the Users do not agree to any part of this Agreement, they should refrain from using the services provided by the Company.
Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement without prior notice. Any changes made to this Agreement will be effective immediately upon posting the revised version on the Company’s website or through any other communication channels deemed appropriate by the Company. It is the responsibility of the Users to review the Agreement periodically to stay informed of any modifications.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired. In such cases, the parties shall use their best efforts to negotiate and agree upon a substitute provision that reflects the original intent of the Agreement.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed following the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By accepting this Agreement, the Users acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms and conditions stated herein and agree to be bound by them.
