🥋 8th Kup – Yellow Belt Syllabus Overview
The Yellow Belt syllabus marks an important step in developing speed, coordination, and balance while expanding on the core techniques learned at earlier stages.
You’ll refine sitting stance punches to strengthen focus and precision, continue flexibility work with stretching and conditioning kicks, and advance your kicking skills with the addition of back kicks alongside front, side, chop, and turning kicks.
Students also begin learning special kick combinations for agility and control, and practise Form 1 (IL Jang) — the first official Taekwondo pattern introducing timing, flow, and technique discipline.
The syllabus further builds real-world readiness through five self-defence drills and reinforces endurance with push-up exercises.
