🥋 6th Dan - Black Belt Syllabus Overview
The 6th Dan Black Belt syllabus represents the transition from student to true practitioner — where precision, discipline, and mastery unite. At this stage, the focus is on perfecting fundamentals, deepening understanding of technique, and demonstrating both physical and mental control.
You’ll refine sitting stance punches for maximum focus and rhythm, enhance flexibility through stretching and conditioning kicks, and execute advanced kicking combinations — including reverse turning, back, and scissor kicks — with power and balance.
Through special kicks and one-step sparring, students learn to apply speed, timing, and counterattack strategy effectively. The Koryo form (Form 9) symbolizes the strength, spirit, and discipline of a Black Belt, while self-defence drills ensure readiness for real-world situations.
Training is rounded off with endurance and strength work, including 40 push-ups, reinforcing the stamina and resilience expected at the Black Belt level.
