TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Attendance and Punctuality
1. Punctuality
1.1 All students must arrive punctually for each scheduled lesson at London Taekwondo Warriors.
1.2 If a student arrives before the instructor, the accompanying parent or guardian must remain with the student until a staff member is present.
1.3 Until a staff member arrives, the parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the student’s safety and well-being. London Taekwondo Warriors will not be held responsible for any incidents during this time.
2. Collection of Students
2.1 Parents or guardians must arrive promptly to collect their child after each class.
2.2 Instructors may have other commitments immediately after class and cannot remain responsible for students.
3. Acknowledgment of Responsibility
3.1 By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian acknowledges responsibility for the student until the lesson starts and they are under the instructor’s supervision.
Payment Terms
1. Payment Schedule
1.1 All monthly subscription payments must be made on the 1st of each month. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payments to avoid any disruption of services.
2. Automatic Payment Authorization
2.1 By subscribing, you authorize London Taekwondo Warriors to automatically withdraw payments from the registered account provided during registration.
3. Payment Obligations
3.1 It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds in your account for monthly or annual subscription fees and equipment purchases.
3.2 In the event of insufficient funds, payments must be rectified immediately to avoid service disruption.
4. Termination for Non-Payment
4.1 Failure to resolve payment issues within a specified period may result in the suspension or termination of services.
5. Cancellation Notice
5.1 To cancel your subscription, you must submit a written notice at least one month prior to your intended cancellation date.
5.2 Automatic payments will continue during the one-month notice period. No additional charges will be made beyond the agreed termination date, provided proper notice is given.
Code of Conduct
1. Disobedience and Misconduct
1.1 London Taekwondo Warriors reserves the right to discontinue training for students who display persistent disobedience or disruptive behavior.
1.2 Any student whose behavior negatively impacts the training environment may be dismissed, following a warning to the parent or guardian.
1.3 Respect and discipline are integral to martial arts training, and adherence to these principles is mandatory.
Personal Belongings
1. Responsibility for Belongings
1.1 London Taekwondo Warriors is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during training sessions.
1.2 It is advised that valuables be left at home. Storage facilities are available for personal items during classes.
Health and Safety
1. Medical Conditions
1.1 If a student has any medical conditions listed below, they must consult a doctor before participating in training:

- Back problems
- Any illness aggravated by exercise
- Head injuries
- Dizziness or loss of consciousness during exercise
- Heart conditions
- Joint problems (e.g., arthritis)
- Diabetes or other metabolic diseases
1.2 Acknowledgement of Risks
1.3 Taekwondo is a physical activity that involves rigorous training, sparring, and other exercises that may pose risks of injury.
1.4 Members acknowledge and accept that participation in any LTW activities, including but not limited to training sessions, promotion tests, competitions, or demonstrations, carries inherent risks.
1.5 LTW will take reasonable steps to provide a safe training environment; however, members must recognise that it is impossible to eliminate all risks associated with physical activities.
2. Member Responsibilities
2.1 Members are required to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to safely participate in LTW activities.
2.2 Members must follow the instructions provided by instructors and adhere to LTW’s safety guidelines at all times.
2.3 Members are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to participate in training sessions and related activities.
2.4 Members must wear appropriate protective gear during training and competitions as specified by LTW.
3. LTW’s Responsibilities
3.1 LTW will provide qualified instructors to conduct training sessions and promote a safe and respectful training environment.
3.2 LTW will ensure that equipment used during training is in good condition and suitable for the activities conducted.
3.3 LTW will not be held responsible for injuries or accidents that occur as a result of non-compliance with safety instructions or negligence on the part of the member.
4. Waiver of Liability
4.1 By signing the membership agreement, members explicitly agree to waive any claims against LTW, its instructors, staff, or representatives for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in LTW activities.
4.2 This waiver applies to all activities conducted under LTW, including training sessions, promotion tests, competitions, and other physical activities.
4.3 Members agree to indemnify and hold LTW harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in LTW activities.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
5.2 Any form of bullying, harassment, or misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership.
5.3 Members must comply with LTW’s policies, rules, and regulations at all times.
6. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
6.1 LTW reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or other communication methods.
6.2 Continued participation in LTW activities after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. You accept full responsibility for your participation in LTW activities and release LTW from liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred.
Liability Waiver
London Taekwondo Warriors, its staff, instructors, volunteers, and assistants are fully protected from any fraudulent claims, personal injury claims, abusive language, accusations, character defamation, safeguarding violations, or data protection issues. Parents, guardians, and students agree that participation in training is at their own risk, and London Taekwondo Warriors is not liable for any injuries sustained during classes, events, or competitions.
Equipment Purchases
1. Purchase of Equipment
1.1 All equipment must be purchased through London Taekwondo Warriors.
1.2 Equipment purchased is non-refundable, and the selection of correct sizes is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Promotion Test Guidelines
1. Training Duration for Belt Promotion
1.1 Students must complete a minimum of four months of consistent training before applying for the next belt.
1.2 High red belts must complete six months of uninterrupted training before applying for higher belt consideration.
Video Recording Policy
1. Recording Permissions
1.1 Parents may record their own child during training sessions or events for personal use.
1.2 Recording of other children is strictly prohibited unless explicit consent is obtained from the respective child’s parent or guardian.
1.3 By registering, you permit London Taekwondo Warriors to record and use videos for social media and marketing unless you opt out in writing.
By enrolling with London Taekwondo Warriors, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
